Engineering high-volume data pipelines and core applications for France's national smart grid. My role combines building robust backend services with Spring Boot and scaling heavy Big Data processing via Apache Spark (Java) and Airflow. Facing nation-wide data throughput, I focus on query optimization and architectural resilience — recently achieving a 61% reduction in execution time for core Parquet data generation pipelines and an 87% drop in memory usage across our Hadoop cluster. I also leverage AI-assisted workflows (GitHub Copilot, custom agents) to accelerate delivery.
Evolving and structuring the front-end architecture using a Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, and shadcn/ui stack. Focused on driving application maturity through Clean Architecture principles, strictly isolating business logic with Zustand. Responsibilities included developing key features, optimizing the codebase, and providing technical leadership to the team.
Front-end (React) for Nabla Copilot, an LLM-powered clinical assistant. I owned the web application and the Chrome extension: token-by-token text streaming, asynchronous state shifting while the doctor is mid-consultation, and a perceived-latency budget close to zero. Building a dependable interface on top of a non-deterministic system is an architecture problem before it is a UI problem. Designed and shipped the web app's V1 in two weeks by building on the existing Chrome extension, then rolled out later iterations progressively behind feature flags.
Evolved from Software Engineering Intern to Lead Front-end Architect, driving technical excellence on critical projects for major healthcare and energy clients. Healthcare (bioMérieux): Architected and developed full-stack medical applications (Angular, Spring Boot) handling sensitive data for millions of patients. Led the cloud migration to AWS (Lambda, Cognito, Terraform) and mentored the front-end development team. Energy (EDF): Built an offline-first Angular tablet application for field operations, focusing on high performance, complex state management, and seamless data synchronization without connectivity. Other projects: Engineered Thales' technical assessment platform from scratch, featuring secure, real-time code execution within Docker containers.
